You'll also be able to admire the locals weaving cloth on handlooms. We'll visit a local church , where you can admire a 20m high mural of the Virgin of Guadalupe, the largest of its kind in the world, painted on the church's cupola. Then we'll walk on through this colourful town heading for two of its most spectacular beaches: Tangolunda and La Entrega. Both of them are gorgeous places for taking photographs and popular for their incredible unspoiled environment. They are also highly popular with tourists and locals alike for water sports. This city and sightseeing tour is a great opportunity for purchasing an “alebrije” a hand-carved wooden figure only to be found in Oaxaca and you shouldn't leave without sampling some of the local delicacies including mole, chapulines, a type of grasshopper that has been fried and seasoned with salt, lime and chilli, and tamales.
